The Silver Shadow was mostly unchanged. Being introduced in 1966, it was the first monocoque Rolls model. The Corniche and Camargue would be built on the same platform. Bentley sold the T1 Series as its version. In 1977 the Silver Shadow would be renamed Silver Shadow IIwith some revisions. Long Wheelbase versions would become the Silver Wraith II in 1977 as well. The Bentley version would be called the T2. Eventually Rolls Royce replaced the Silver Shadow with the Silver Spirit in 1981.
