Note from the creator of productioncars.com:

The photos below are part of my personally photographed collection spanning over twenty years. They represent what I feel are some of the most unique photo opportunities I have had. If anyone has any comments or information on some of these models that you feel would be important to share, please let productioncars.com know and it can be added.

1975 Dome-O
1975 Dome-O

This was on display at the 1992 Las Vegas Auto and Design Expo Show. This Japanese showcar introduced in 1975 means "Children's Dream"
The Dome-O was powered by a 145 horsepower Datsun engine and top speed of 140 mph. Not too many spectators knew what this car was - even though I feel it is the predecessor to the Jiotta Caspita (also at the show)

1994 Eagle Vision Aerie Concept

I spotted this at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale in 1999. This was the last Eagle concept vehicle and one that previewed the LH cab-forward styling theme.
Photographed at the 1995 Minneapolis Auto Show was this Vision concept. It was introduced at major auto shows a year prior. 275 horsepower 24-valve V6 engine.

1979 Ford Mustang Pace Car
1991 Pontiac Protosport 4 Concept

Photographed at Oseola at Classic Motorbooks Headquarters Annual Car Show - this was the only clean example Pace Car 1979 Mustang I've come across.
Displayed at the 1992 Las Vegas Auto and Design Expo Show - The Protosport 4 was fiberglass and featured a TV and VCR inside.

1998 GM EV-1 Electric
1960 Edsel Ranger Convertible

Before the Prius there was the GM EV-1. Although this model was only available through leases at GM - Mainly Saturn dealers, GM terminated the leases and no models survive in private hands and most models were destroyed. A modern-day Chrysler Turbine Car. This one was photographed new at the 1998 Minneapolis Auto Show but I've been fortunate to view another at the Henry Ford Museum.
Maybe not the most notable Edsel but certainly one of the most rare - 76 built of these last-year Edsel convertible models. This one was photographed at the annual Hinkley Grand Casino Auto Show in Minnesota in the mid-1990s.
